皇居桔梗門/ Palace (Kikyou-gate)

重厚な石垣と美しい桔梗紋が印象的な歴史の玄関口。江戸城の面影を今に伝え、四季折々の風景が楽しめます。松の大廊下跡も通る皇居参観ツアーに参加頂きます。/This historic gateway is marked by its imposing stone walls and beautiful bellflower crest. 新正堂（新橋）/Shinseido at Shinbashi

新橋にある老舗の和菓子店。 殿中で刃傷事件を起こした浅野内匠頭の一時預かり場所となった田村右京太夫屋敷跡に建っている。史跡は無いがこの屋敷の庭にて浅野内匠頭は切腹したと伝えられる。それでこの店の銘菓は切腹最中として有名です。/This is a long-established Japanese confectionery shop in Shinbashi. It is built on the site of the former Tamura Ukyodayu residence, which was used as a temporary shelter for Asano Takumi no Kami after he was involved in a sword fight in the Imperial Palace. There is no historical site, but it is said that Asano Takumi no Kami committed seppuku in the garden of this residence. This is why the shop's signature confectionery is famous as seppuku monaka.

赤坂氷川神社/Akasaka Hikawa Shrin

境内には江戸時代の年号が刻まれた鳥居・狛犬・灯籠が数多く現存し、都内では珍しい江戸の情景を肌で感じることができる神社です。創建前は浅野内匠頭長矩の正室・瑤泉院の実家である浅野土佐守邸があった場所で、瑤泉院は生涯ここで暮らしました。ここの横の急な坂道が有名な南部坂です。/ Within the grounds, there are many torii gates, lion-dog statues, and lanterns engraved with the names of the Edo period, making this a rare shrine in Tokyo where you can get a firsthand feel of the Edo period. Before its construction, the site was the residence of Asano Tosa-no-kami, the family home of Asano Takumi-no-kami Naganori's wife, Yosen-in, who lived here for the rest of her life. The steep slope next to this place is the famous Nanbuzaka Slope.

旧吉良邸/回向院　Old Kira House/ Ekouin Temple

討ち入り当時の明暦３年(吉良邸は、東西733間（134m）、南北は34間（63m）、2550坪（8400平方）という広大なものでした。現在の公園の面積は、97.56平方なので、86分の1の規模ということに。赤穂浪士は47名は元禄15年12月14日（1703年1月30日）、厳寒のなか、吉良邸に乱入。吉良上野介は殺されました。赤穂浪士に死者はおらず、吉良邸側は死者15人を生むという事件となっています。/At the time of the raid, the Kira residence was vast, measuring 134m east to west, 63m north to south, and covering 8400 square meters. he current park has an area of 97.56 square meters, so it is 1/86th the size. 47 Ako Ronin stormed the Kira residence in the bitter cold on December 14, 15th year of Genroku (January 30, 1703). Kira Kozukenosuke was killed. No Ako Ronin were killed, but 15 people died at the Kira residence. 回向院は、吉良邸の近隣にあり、明暦３年(１６５７)に起きた明暦の大火（別名振袖火事）でなくなった人々を供養するために、幕府が建立したお寺です。回向院での休息を申し込んだ赤穂浪士に対して、回向院は暮れ六つ以後明け六つ以前は誰もいれない決まりとなっていると断りました。血だらけの浪士達を見て、回向院は関わり合いになって後難が生じるのを怖れたものと思われます。/Ekoin Temple is located near the Kira residence and was built by the shogunate to commemorate those who died in the Great Fire of Meireki (also known as the Furisode Fire) that occurred in the third year of the Meireki era (1657). When the Ako Ronin requested to rest at Ekoin Temple, they were refused, stating that it was a rule that no one was allowed in between six o'clock in the evening and six o'clock in the morning. Seeing the bloodied Ronin, Ekoin Temple probably feared that getting involved would lead to future trouble.

泉岳寺/Sengakuji Temple

泉岳寺境内にある「浅野長矩墓および赤穂義士墓」は国の史跡。 討ち入りした四十七士のほか、討入り以前に自害した萱野重実（三平）の供養墓を含め48基の墓塔が並んでいます。/The Tomb of Asano Naganori and the Tomb of the Ako Gishi, located within the grounds of Sengaku-ji Temple, is a national historic site. There are 48 gravestones lined up here, including the graves of the 47 Ronin who took part in the raid, as well as the memorial to Kayano Shigezane (Sanpei), who committed suicide before the attack.
